  18. 1. You *must* use a ZIP program that can extract Long File
  19.    Names, otherwise the Theme will not work. I recommend
  20.    Winzip 6.0 or greater.
  21.  
  22. 2. You need to have the Microsoft Plus! pack installed, or use the shareware
  23.    Program "Desktop Themes" by Left Side Software (http://www.lss.com.au).
  24.  
  25. 3. If "Use folder names" is checked in WinZip (or similar utility), then 
  26.     Autumn Coast can simply be extracted to "C:\", or whichever
  27.     drive contains your Themes files, and Autumn Coast will extract
  28.     itself into the default folders.
  29.  
  30.    Otherwise, if you have not implemented that feature, you must create
  31.    a folder called "Autumn Coast" under your Themes folder, and manually 
  32.    extract all of the files to there. Then, move the "Autumn Coast.Theme" 
  33.    file into the Themes Directory. 
  34.  
  35.    In both cases, move the "Tahoma.ttf" file to your \Windows\Fonts folder, 
  36.    and the "Dangerous Creatures.scr" screensaver to your \Windows\System 
  37.    folder (if you do not already have it).
  38.  
  39. 4. The Startup Screen (logo.sys) should be moved to the root directory of 
  40.    your boot drive. If you have compressed your boot drive with Drivespace, then you             must place Logo.sys in the root directory of your Host drive. Place Logow.sys in
  41.    your Windows directory. Right-click these files, select Properties, and then check
  42.    "Hidden" and "System". Click on OK. The Autumn Coast startup & shutdown screens    will now be operational.

  47.    the process of changing screens MUCH easier! It works in all Display Modes, and       includes a Viewer to see the files as you work with them.  It is FREEWARE!
